Syngenta: Swiss company puts lives at risk
to increase profit.

A society of men lacking all sense of responsibility?
Syngenta
board of directors.
Syngenta is a ma product of a merger (2000) combining the agro divisions of Novartis (CH) and Astra-Zeneca (UK). The Basel-based corporation generates more than three quarters of its revenue from pesticides (US$ 6.3 billion) sales. This makes it the world's largest producer of pesticides. Syngenta is also the world's third largest seed producer (total sales US$ 1,8 billion).
The company has 19,000 employees worldwide. It is run by an eight-member executive board (five Brits, one American, two Swiss) and a eleven-member board of directors.
